4% reduction
Reduced water consumption using updated technology and leakage control on tanks and water-supply piping throughout the factory.
Waste
12% reduction
Improved waste management practices resulted in a reduction of landfill waste.
03 · Certifications & Audits
Where our certification progress stands today.
We maintain a structured certification roadmap and undergo third-party audit preparation to validate compliance with international standards. We report status honestly — including work that is still in progress.
| Certification / Standard | Scope | Status |
|---|---|---|
| ZDHC Gateway — MRSL Level Compliance | Verified compliance with the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List | Under Process |
| ISO 9001:2015 | Quality Management System — consistent product quality and continuous improvement | Under Process |
| ISO 14001:2015 | Environmental Management — framework for environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance | Under Process |
| ISO 45001:2018 | Occupational Health & Safety — safe workplace practices and risk management | Under Process |
04 · 2025–26 Targets
What we're holding ourselves to next.
- →Sustain 100% compliance with ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines across all quarterly assessments.
- →Reduce Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) levels in wastewater by a further 4% through process improvements.
- →Implement real-time wastewater monitoring systems to enhance operational control and transparency.
05 · Effluent Treatment
ETP Management (Outsourced)
Zoha Chemical Industries uses an outsourced Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure all industrial wastewater is effectively treated prior to discharge. Our third-party partner has designed and maintains its ETP in accordance with ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines and local environmental regulatory requirements.
Treatment includes primary, secondary, and — where required — tertiary stages to remove contaminants and reduce Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), with regular monitoring and laboratory testing to verify treatment efficiency and environmental compliance.
06 · Measurement & Data Management
KPIs, tracked and reviewed quarterly.
We monitor environmental and chemical safety performance through defined Key Performance Indicators. Data is collected, analyzed, and reviewed quarterly to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
6.1 Chemical Usage & Testing Results
Parameters tested against ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines.
| Parameter Tested | Unit | Limit Value | 2025 Result | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pH | — | 6–9 | 6.5 | Compliant |
| COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) | mg/L | ≤ 150 | 75 | Compliant |
| Heavy Metals (Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, etc.) | mg/L | As per ZDHC | ND* | Compliant |
| APEOs | mg/L | ≤ 0.01 | ND* | Compliant |
| Total Suspended Solids | mg/L | ≤ 50 | 35 | Compliant |
*ND = Not Detected.
6.2 Supplier ZDHC MRSL Compliance
| Supplier Category | Total Suppliers | % Complying with ZDHC MRSL |
|---|---|---|
| Raw Material Suppliers | 5 | 100% |
